Wellsville woman charged with DWI after traffic stop on South Main Street

Police say a routine traffic stop in Wellsville led to drunken driving charges for a local woman late Friday.

Wellsville, NY – A Wellsville woman is facing drunken driving charges after police stopped her vehicle on South Main Street Friday, according to the Wellsville Police Department.

Wellsville Police reported the arrest of Danielle M. Marsh, 33, of Wellsville, on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more. She was also cited for no or inadequate lights, which is listed as an infraction.

According to the department, the charges stem from a traffic stop conducted on South Main Street.

Court appearance scheduled in April

Police said Marsh was processed following the arrest and later released to a third party with an appearance ticket.

She is scheduled to appear in Wellsville Village Court on April 7 at 4:30 p.m. to answer the charges.
