LaGrange man starts holiday season with $50K lottery win on $10 scratch-off

LaGrange, OH – A man in LaGrange is kicking off the holiday season with a windfall after winning $50,000 on the Ohio Lottery’s Holiday Cash Vault scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was purchased at Friendship Foods #95, located at 600 N. Center Street. After mandatory state and federal taxes are withheld, the winner will take home $36,437.50.

Holiday Cash Vault is a $10 scratch-off offering a top prize of $500,000. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.50. As of Thursday, three top prizes remain unclaimed along with thousands of additional prize levels still available.

The win marks one of the latest payouts in the seasonal game, which is part of the Ohio Lottery’s holiday-themed lineup. Tickets are available at licensed retailers throughout the state.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $34 billion to support public education in Ohio.
