STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ – You hear horror stories about towns shutting down children’s lemonade stands nationwide over lack of permits or health department clearance, but in West Creek, the New Jersey State Police are supporting kids raising money for local first responders.

“As troopers, sometimes we respond to calls for service, and other times we may stop by a local lemonade stand to support two young amazing kids,” the NJ State Police said.

Yesterday, troopers from Troop “C” Tuckerton Station stopped by Memphis and Mikenna’s “Lemonade 4 First Aid” stand in West Creek to support their efforts to raise money for Stafford Township First Aid.

“Thank you Memphis and Mikenna for the lemonade, and more importantly, thank you for supporting our local volunteer first aid workers. Your dedication is an inspiration to us all,” the department said.
