Stafford Man Arrested After Multi-County Search

STAFFORD, VA — A Colonial Beach man, wanted in three different jurisdictions, was arrested Wednesday in Stafford County. Allen Weathers, 46, was sought by the Street Crimes Unit for several felony probation violations.

Deputies identified Weathers at approximately 11:09 a.m. operating a bright red Chevy Blazer. The vehicle was located in the 800 block of Kellogg Mill Road, where deputies successfully intercepted Weathers.

Attempting to flee on foot, Weathers was quickly apprehended as he tried to escape to a nearby wooded area. Upon his arrest, deputies found suspected controlled substances on him and inside the vehicle.

Weathers was served with his outstanding warrants and taken to the Rappahannock Regional Jail, where he is being held without bond. Charges related to the controlled substances are pending.
