Stolen support dog ‘One Eye Willie’ found safe after being taken from owner’s yard

Howell, NJ – A husky-shepherd mix named “One Eye Willie,” reported stolen from a Howell yard earlier this week, has been found safe and is set to be reunited with his family.

The emotional support dog was located Saturday at the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets in Tinton Falls and is was taken into the care of the Monmouth County SPCA in Eatontown.

The dog’s disappearance sparked widespread attention after his owner reported that he had been taken from their Church Road property. A $1,000 no-questions-asked reward had been offered as friends and residents across Ocean and Monmouth counties shared the alert on social media.

SPCA officials confirmed that Willie, identified by his black Kong collar and multi-colored eyes, was found by a Good Samaritan and brought to safety. Proof of ownership is required before release, and his owners are expected to retrieve him soon.

The stolen emotional support dog from Howell was safely found in Tinton Falls and is reuniting with his family.
