Suspect caught on camera in fatal Northeast D.C. shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Authorities are searching for a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Northeast Washington, D.C., on Sunday morning.

At approximately 8:25 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of 50th Street, Northeast. Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim unconscious in an alley, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, later identified as 44-year-old James Price, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect was captured on surveillance footage, which has been made public by the police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or send tips to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
