Overnight bicycle theft at Princeton school under investigation police seek suspect
Princeton, NJ – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect captured on surveillance video stealing two student bicycles during the early morning hours near a Princeton school.
The incident occurred on October 28 between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., when an unidentified male was recorded near the bicycle racks on the west side of the school, adjacent to Walnut Lane. Video footage shows the man removing two bicycles belonging to students before leaving the area.
According to the Princeton Police Department, the suspect appears to be a heavy-build male, possibly White or Hispanic, dressed in all-black clothing and carrying a plastic grocery bag.
Police have not released images from the surveillance footage but confirmed that an active investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made, and the stolen bicycles have not yet been recovered.
