Tabernacle lottery player claims first Jersey Cash 5 jackpot of 2025

TRENTON, N.J. — A Burlington County player began 2025 in style, winning the year’s first Jersey Cash 5 jackpot and taking home $657,679.

The winning ticket, drawn Thursday night, was purchased at Murphy’s Market on 381 Medford Lakes Road in Tabernacle. The winning numbers were 01, 23, 25, 34, 40, with the XTRA number 02 and the Bullseye number 25.

Burlington County has now seen consecutive wins in the Jersey Cash 5 game. Just days earlier, on Dec. 27, a ticket sold at Hainesport ShopRite won the final jackpot of 2024, securing a $494,401 prize.

With two jackpots in a week, Burlington County lottery players are starting the New Year with a streak of luck. Jersey Cash 5 continues to offer daily opportunities for big wins across New Jersey.
