On January 30, 2025, at around 3:50 p.m., a state trooper was dispatched to address an assault related to road rage in the vicinity of North Dupont Highway and West Denney’s Road. Prior to the trooper’s arrival, Zoey Hickman was detained by an officer from the Cheswold Police Department. The trooper determined that the incident involved Hickman, driving a Volkswagen Jetta, and a Ford F-150 on North Dupont Highway. The two vehicles stopped next to each other in traffic, prompting an argument between Hickman and a passenger in the Ford.
