PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal double shooting Wednesday evening in the city’s Logan section that left one teenager dead and another wounded.

Officers from the 35th District responded at approximately 6:07 p.m. to reports of a person with a gun at 1700 Lindley Avenue. They found an 18-year-old male unresponsive on the Logan School playground, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 6:32 p.m., police said. His identity has not been released pending family notification.

A second victim, a 16-year-old male, was also located at the scene with gunshot wounds to his hands and legs. He was taken to the same hospital and was listed in serious but stable condition.
