Toledo Shooting Incident Leaves One Dead and One in Critical Condition

TOLEDO, OH – A tragic shooting occurred early on June 13, 2024, in the 300 block of E. Lake Street, resulting in one fatality and another victim in critical condition. Toledo Police responded to the incident around 4:00 AM after receiving reports of a person shot.

Upon arrival, officers found 44-year-old Joshua Davis suffering from gunshot wounds. A female juvenile was also struck during the incident. Both victims received immediate medical attention at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, Joshua Davis was later pronounced dead. The female juvenile is currently listed in critical condition.

The Toledo Police Department has initiated a thorough investigation into the shooting, which was reportedly captured on Facebook Live. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. Informants may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 or more for information leading to further developments in the case.
