FREEHOLD-The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office indicted 7 individuals on Friday in a sweeping move against child sexual predators and abusers. Two of those individuals were Brick Township residents.
John A. Broskey and Richard Jones, both of Brick Township were indicted on Friday by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
Jones, a realtor and owner of Century 21 Herbertsville Real Estate in Brick Township was charged with attempted sexual assault for a September 29th incident in Asbury Park where he attempted sexual penetration with a juvenile, reported by the court to be between 13 and 16 years old.
Broskey was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and possession of a controlled substance.
Broskey’s charges stem from an August 30th encounter where the prosecutor’s office said he committed the crime of endangering the welfare of a child and caused harm under NJSA 9:6-1, 9:6-3 and 9:6-8.21, involving abuse and abandonment.
Others indicted by the prosecutor’s office included Richard Buonanno, of Mount Laurel on aggravated sexual assault charges; Jill Trainor, of New Brunswick for luring charges in Keansburg; Noel Manguel, of Asbury Park, for sexual assault of a minor; Jonathan Pascoe, of Keyport, for criminal sexual contact with a minor; and James Johnson, of Eatontown, for aggravated sexual assault on a minor;
