LITTLE EGG HARBOR TWP., NJ — A two-year-old boy was found unresponsive inside a home on Radio Road Tuesday morning and later pronounced dead at the scene, prompting a multi-agency investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.

Just before 9:00 a.m., Little Egg Harbor Township Police responded to a 911 call reporting a medical emergency at a private residence. Officers arrived around 8:50 a.m. and discovered the toddler unresponsive. Despite emergency efforts, the child was declared deceased on-site.

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer confirmed the incident is being actively investigated by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, the Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department Detective Bureau, the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and the Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office.

No details have been released regarding the cause or manner of death, and officials have not confirmed whether foul play is suspected. The identity of the child has not been made public, and authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
