Upcoming Road Repairs and Utility Work in Cinnaminson Township

CINNAMINSON, NJ – The Cinnaminson Township Police Department announced a schedule for road repairs and utility work from November 13 to November 18. This update includes new installations and maintenance work by PSE&G and New Jersey American Water (NJAWC).

PSE&G will install new gas mains and services in the following areas from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM:

  • Manor Road, from Highland Avenue to Riverton Road
  • Branch Pike, from Pomona Road to Riverton Road

Pioneer Pipe, contracted by NJAWC, will connect services at the following location from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM:

  • Columbia Avenue / Kathleen Avenue on November 13 and 14

The water main replacement on Cherry Lane, initially scheduled for the coming week, is postponed to Monday, November 27.

Additionally, PSE&G has contracted Asplundh for telephone pole replacement in Cinnaminson Township. This work, extending over the next few months, involves poles marked with a white “X”. Asplundh will install new poles and transfer power lines, potentially causing short-term power outages. Police assistance will be available for traffic management around work areas.

Pole replacement schedule and locations:

  • November 14: 2301 Conrow Road
  • November 15: 176 Oxford Road
  • November 16: 405 Wayne Drive

Residents are advised to avoid parking near the marked poles on these dates. The township acknowledges possible shifts in the daily plan due to weather or operational needs, which might lead to unannounced detours or road closures. For guidance around construction zones or updates on detours and closures, residents can talk to on-site officers or call the non-emergency number at 856-829-6666.

Chief Rich Calabrese assures residents of continued efforts to provide timely information and assistance during these essential maintenance and upgrade projects.
