Veteran Wins $100K in Fourth of July Lottery Drawing

AVON, OH – “In a fitting stroke of luck on the Fourth of July holiday, a veteran from Avon won $100,000 on the Classic Lotto’s KICKER drawing held July 4,” according to lottery officials. “He made his claim this morning.”

He will receive approximately $72,000 after tax withholdings. His ticket was purchased at Discount Drug Mart, located at 33552 Detroit Road in Avon.

All six numbers matched in exact order, beating odds of 1 in 1.0 million to win. The veteran says he is not done yet.
