WASHINGTON, D.C. — Authorities are searching for a suspect accused of making violent threats and using homophobic slurs against two individuals last month at a Northwest D.C. intersection.
The incident occurred Thursday, March 20, at approximately 9:54 p.m. near the intersection of 6th Street and H Street, Northwest. Investigators said the suspect directed hateful language toward the victims and threatened bodily harm to one of them before fleeing the scene.
The case is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police Department as a potential hate or bias-motivated crime. Officials noted that the hate crime designation could change as the investigation progresses and more details are confirmed.
