Virginia Beach Police Investigating Triple Shooting That Left One Dead

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – A shooting in the 800 block of Riverbend Road in Virginia Beach has resulted in one fatality and two injuries. The Virginia Beach Emergency Communications and Citizens Services (ECCS) first received ShotSpotter alerts about the incident on December 24th, at 12:12 A.M., followed by calls from community members.

Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) officers, upon arrival, found two adult males with gunshot wounds. One of the victims, identified as 43-year-old Antonio Wolfe of Portsmouth, Virginia, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was rushed to a local hospital and remains in critical condition. A third male victim, also suffering a gunshot wound related to this incident, later presented himself at a local hospital and has been released after treatment.

VBPD homicide detectives are currently investigating the circumstances of what they describe as a chaotic scene. As of now, no suspects have been taken into custody.
