Wall Township, NJ – A series of drug and DWI arrests kept Wall Township police busy this past week, with multiple suspects taken into custody during traffic stops across the area.
Between September 8 and September 14, officers reported arrests ranging from narcotics possession to outstanding warrants and drunk driving, according to the department’s blotter.
On Monday, Sept. 8, Patrolman Joseph Phillips arrested Steven Sanchez, 30, of Belmar, after a motor vehicle stop on Old Mill Road. Sanchez was charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia and later released on a summons.
The following day, Sept. 9, Patrolman James Yannazone arrested Michael Mylet, 69, of Howell, on cocaine and paraphernalia charges after a stop on Belmar Boulevard. Later the same day, Patrolman Tyler Martin arrested John Paxton, 61, of Manchester, and Marlene Sullivan, 41, of Bayville, on similar charges. Both were processed and released on summonses.
On Thursday, Sept. 11, Patrolman Tyler Driscoll arrested Evan Mann, 40, of Freehold, on a Howell Township traffic warrant following a stop on State Highway 34. Mann was released after posting bail. Patrolman Tyler Russell also arrested Justin Longstreet, 34, of Wall Township, at Spring Lake Police Department on a Wall Township warrant. Longstreet was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Friday saw multiple arrests, including that of Julian Calcese, 33, of Asbury Park, who was charged with possession of crack cocaine, heroin, and paraphernalia following a hit-and-run investigation on State Highway 138. He was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Patrolman Daniel Grothues also arrested Monica Bosco, 29, of Jackson, on a Toms River warrant; she was released after posting bail. Later that night, Patrolman Johan Moreno arrested Victor Victoriano on DWI charges following a crash on State Highway 35 around 10:33 p.m. He was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.
On Saturday, Sept. 13, two additional DWIs were reported. Patrolman Trent Powers arrested Devlin Santos, 25, of Toms River, at 2:24 a.m. on State Highway 138, while Patrolman Joseph Phillips arrested Lionel Petersen, 45, of Neptune, at 10:37 p.m. on Tilton’s Corner Road. Both were released under John’s Law.
The week closed on Sunday, Sept. 14, when Patrolman Tyler Martin arrested Moriah Collado, 45, of Brick, on a Brielle traffic warrant during a stop on State Highway 35. She was released on her own recognizance by Brielle authorities.
