Washington, DC – A 34-year-old man was fatally stabbed early Saturday morning during a violent altercation that erupted on 14th Street in Northwest, leaving one dead and three others injured, according to police.

At approximately 3:48 a.m. on September 13, officers from the Third District responded to the 2000 block of 14th Street, Northwest, following a report of a stabbing. They arrived to find an adult male, later identified as Jermaine Foster Jr. of Northwest, DC, unconscious but still breathing, with visible stab wounds. He was transported by DC Fire and EMS to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead after lifesaving efforts failed.

Investigators determined that the stabbing occurred during a large fight involving multiple individuals. The incident left three additional people with minor injuries; those victims later arrived at the hospital on their own.

Police have not released details on what sparked the altercation or whether any suspects have been identified or taken into custody. The incident is being treated as a homicide, and the investigation remains active.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Authorities are urging anyone with knowledge of the case to contact the Metropolitan Police Department.
