Wallet swiped at Toms River restaurant as police hunt duo seen fleeing in Hyundai
Toms River, NJ — A wallet theft at a local restaurant has prompted police to release images of two suspects as they work to identify the individuals involved.
The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. April 18 at Burger 25 on Route 37 East, according to the Toms River Police Department.
Investigators say the two male suspects took a wallet before leaving the area in a silver Hyundai Elantra. The vehicle was described as having tinted windows, a bicycle attached to a rear rack, and a New Jersey license plate displayed in the front windshield.
Police have not released further details about the victim or the circumstances leading up to the theft.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.
