JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Jackson Township Mayor Michael Reina is once again inviting residents in the community to volunteer for township advisory boards and committees in order to help steer the township in the right direction going forward.
The annual call for volunteers follows Reina’s election win that saw two new political faces join the council, Scott Sargent and Jennifer Kuhn.
Reina said the election is in the rear view mirror in Jackson and his goal is to now continue to move Jackson forward, the slogan of his political campaign.
The Mayor, along with the Township Council, strongly urge any resident who wishes to volunteer to serve on an advisory Board or Commission to submit a Citizen Leadership Form which can be found on our website at www.jacksontwpnj.net, under the Forms, Licenses and Permits section.

All requests for consideration should be received by December 20, 2022. The following advisory boards and committees currently exist:
Veterans Commission, Rent Leveling Board, Planning Board, Zoning Board, Economic Development Commission, Citizens Budget Advisory Committee, Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board, Pathfinders, Environmental Commission, Historical Commission, and the Shade Tree Commission. In the new year, the Mayor and Township Council will be creating and appointing members to an Open Space Advisory Committee, as well.
