Winning $50K Powerball ticket purchased in small-town Maryland

CRESAPTOWN, MD — A Powerball ticket purchased at Lashbaugh’s Bar & Grill in Cresaptown, Allegany County, hit a $50,000 third-tier prize in the November 20 drawing, Maryland Lottery officials announced Thursday.

The winning numbers for Wednesday night’s drawing were 16, 30, 60, 62, and 64, with the Powerball number 25 and a Power Play multiplier of x3. The small-town win is Maryland’s 55th third-tier Powerball prize of 2024.

While there was no jackpot winner in the drawing, the Powerball jackpot has grown to an estimated $171 million for Saturday’s drawing, with a cash option of $78.7 million. In addition to the Cresaptown winner, the drawing created 8,334 other winners in Maryland, with prizes ranging from $4 to $100.

Lottery officials recommend that the Cresaptown winner sign the back of the ticket and store it in a safe place before claiming their prize within the 182-day window.
