Youngstown woman hits $100K jackpot

Youngstown, OH — A trip to a Mahoning Avenue convenience store turned into a six-figure payday for one lucky Youngstown woman, who claimed a $100,000 top prize playing the Ohio Lottery’s Win Big scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K #5330, located at 1821 Mahoning Avenue. The player scratched the $5 ticket while still inside the store and immediately knew it was a major winner. After taxes, she will receive $72,000.

The winner plans to use her windfall to buy a car, furnish her home, and pay down bills. The Win Big scratch-off offers a $100,000 top prize and, as of October 1, just two of those prizes remain unclaimed.

Circle K #5330 joins a growing list of Ohio retailers that have recently sold top-tier winning tickets.

The Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $34 billion to public education programs since its founding in 1974.
