Winning ticket sold at Abell’s Tavern in Callaway
ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Md. — Someone in Southern Maryland is waking up a millionaire after a $1.7 million Multi-Match ticket was sold at a local tavern.
The Maryland Lottery said the jackpot-winning ticket for the March 19 drawing was purchased at Abell’s Tavern on Piney Point Road in Callaway.
This marks the first Multi-Match jackpot win of 2026.
The winning numbers were 3, 14, 15, 19, 27 and 38.
The winner now has a choice between receiving the full $1.7 million annuity paid out over 25 years or an estimated $950,000 lump sum before taxes.
The retailer that sold the ticket will receive a $1,000 bonus.
Lottery officials advise the winner to sign the back of the ticket and store it in a safe place. The prize must be claimed within 182 days of the drawing.
