MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery player purchased a top-prize Scratch-Off ticket worth $1 million a year for life at a Walmart in Elk County, giving the lucky ticket holder the option of receiving lifetime annual payments or a $14.5 million cash payout.

The winning $1,000,000 a Year for Life Scratch-Off ticket was sold at the Walmart located at 1102 Million Dollar Highway in Fox Township.

The retailer will receive a $100,000 bonus for selling the top-prize ticket.

The $50 Scratch-Off game offers players the choice of receiving $1 million a year for life or a one-time cash option of $14.5 million, before applicable tax withholding.
