12-Year-Old Among Five Teens Arrested in Stolen Car with Stolen Items

BALTIMORE, MD — On March 30, at approximately 3 p.m., police were dispatched to a commercial location in the 1400 block of West Patapsco Avenue following reports of an attempted unarmed robbery. Officers encountered a male victim who reported a physical assault by several unidentified juveniles.

The altercation occurred when the juveniles attempted to enter a restricted area of the store to access merchandise. The victim’s intervention led to a physical assault by the group, who subsequently fled the scene without any stolen items. The victim received minor injuries and was treated on site.

In a rapid response, authorities located the suspects in the 2200 block of Christian Street. The group, consisting of five juveniles, abandoned their vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. The apprehended individuals include a 12-year-old male, a 13-year-old male, two 15-year-old females, and a 17-year-old male.

Investigations revealed the vehicle in question was reported stolen from Baltimore County. The juveniles are now in custody at the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center.
