New York City Police Arrest Known Criminal, 15-year-old After Snatching Child’s Cellphone

NEW YORK, NY – In a city where 15-year-olds are identified as known criminals with rap sheets, police remain diligent and alert. This week, police quickly apprehended a 15-year-old who is a known juvenile delinquent after stealing a 12-year-old’s cell phone.

“At it again—the known thief snatched a younger teen’s phone & fled. Our cops responded fast, found the teenage culprit blocks away, and swiftly arrested him. Thankfully the 12-year-old victim was uninjured,” NYPD said.

Quick response by officers resulted in the arrest.
