A fatal motor vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer occurred in the Bridgeville area on the night of Friday. Delaware State Police are investigating the incident, which happened at the intersection of Atlanta Road (Route 30) and Federalsburg Road (Route 18).

A 2020 Freightliner tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on Atlanta Road when it failed to stop at a posted stop sign, proceeding into the path of a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country minivan traveling westbound on Federalsburg Road.
