SOMERVILLE, NJ – On May 10, 2023, Ranait Griff, a former teacher and coach from Franklin Township, Somerset County, entered a guilty plea for failure to report child abuse.
The plea agreement stipulates probation and a condition prohibiting Griff from teaching or coaching anyone under the age of 18.
Matthew Rennie, another teacher from the same private educational institution, was previously found guilty of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He was sentenced to four years in New Jersey State Prison on March 17, 2023.
