45-year-old Male Stabbed During Dispute on NYC Subway Train

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify an individual connected with an assault incident.

On Wednesday, June 21, around 6:40 pm, a 45-year-old male was reportedly stabbed in a dispute aboard a northbound #5 train at the 125th Street subway station.

Following the assault, the suspect fled the scene, leaving the victim with a stab wound to the torso. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The police department has provided a description of the suspect: a 25-year-old male, approximately 170 lbs, wearing glasses.

At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a blue New York Yankees baseball cap, black t-shirt, blue pants, and white sneakers.
