BRONX, NY – The New York City Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to an assault that occurred within the 40 Precinct.
On Tuesday, August 22, at approximately 4:10 pm, a 32-year-old male victim was involved in a verbal dispute with an unknown individual on the northbound 2 train. The unknown individual used a knife to slash the victim’s left arm before exiting the train at the Grand Concourse and 149 Street station. The assailant then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals / Lincoln, where he is listed in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 30 years of age, 6″2′ in height, and 210 LBS in weight. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black sweatshirt, gray shorts, and black boots. Media related to the suspect is available at DCPI.
