Bayport and Newburgh Celebrate Powerball Wins Worth $50K Each

NEW YORK – The New York Lottery has revealed that the September 25th Powerball drawing produced three lucky third-prize-winning tickets, offering a substantial reward to their holders.

The winning tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • L & M Beverage Barn / Superstar, situated at 724 Montauk Highway in Bayport, sold one third-prize-winning ticket, each worth $50,000.
  • Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh, sold two third-prize-winning tickets, each also valued at $50,000.

In the Powerball game, winning numbers are selected from a pool ranging from one to 69, with the red Power Ball drawn from a separate pool of one to 26. The Powerball drawing, which holds the promise of changing lives, is televised three times a week, specifically every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
