Annapolis Man Attacked During Home Invasion Incident

ANNAPOLIS, MD – In the early hours of Thursday, Annapolis Police responded to a violent altercation at the 1100 block of Newtowne Drive.

Miguel Garcia Luengas, 22, illegally entered a residence and attacked the homeowner’s boyfriend.

Separated upon police arrival, Luengas was arrested and faces charges of first-degree burglary, home invasion, and second-degree assault.

Currently held without bond at Jennifer Road Detention Center, Luengas awaits further proceedings.

The Police department is handling the investigation and will release additional details as the case progresses.
