New Jersey Man Wanted for Uncle's Murder in Maryland Found Dead in Atlantic City

BRANDYWINE, MD – Prince George’s County Police reported a domestic-related fatal shooting in Brandywine, identifying the victim as 62-year-old Lewis Parker, Sr. The incident occurred on the night of November 20, 2023.

Responding to a call at around 11:50 pm in the 15000 block of Brandywine Road, officers found Parker inside his home with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Homicide Unit detectives, with assistance from Clinton Division V Investigators, identified the suspect as 29-year-old Elijah Drew of Somers Point, New Jersey, Parker’s nephew. Drew was located in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where he reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The motive behind the shooting is currently under investigation. The Prince George’s County Police are seeking information related to the case and encourage anyone with insights to contact their Homicide Unit at 301-516-2512.
