Gunpoint Moped Theft in D.C. Leads to Arrest

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 25-year-old man, identified as Damion Bullock from Southeast, D.C., has been apprehended by local law enforcement for an armed carjacking incident. The event unfolded on Friday night at the 400 Block of H Street in Northeast Washington, D.C.

Around 8:28 p.m., Bullock confronted the victim, brandishing a handgun, and seized the victim’s moped. He then escaped the scene on the stolen vehicle.

Fortunately, the moped was fitted with GPS tracking, which allowed the responding officers to locate it swiftly. Bullock was found pushing the moped down a street.

He has been charged with Armed Carjacking and Carrying a Pistol Without a License, as confirmed by the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department.
