Suffolk County Police Spread Holiday Cheer with Gift Distribution

by Charlie Dwyer

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY – Santa Claus teamed up with the Suffolk County Police Department (SCPD) for a special holiday mission, leaving his reindeer behind for a ride with local officers.

Members of the Fifth Precinct took on the role of Santa’s helpers, delivering presents to children across the community. This festive endeavor was made possible through collaborations with Amazon and State Farm Insurance.

A total of 21 families experienced the joy of receiving bags full of gifts, bringing smiles and excitement to numerous children. This initiative provided SCPD officers with a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of the young people they serve.

The SCPD extends their warm wishes for a delightful holiday season to these families and the wider community.
