D.C. Police Release Video to Find Suspects in Teen's Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC—The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to identify two suspects involved in a recent shooting that injured a teenager in Southeast. The incident occurred late on the night of May 13 in the 3500 block of Minnesota Avenue, Southeast.

At approximately 11:45 PM, police responded to reports of gunfire and discovered a 16-year-old male with gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were deemed non-life-threatening.

Surveillance footage capturing the two suspects has been released to aid in their identification.

The police urge anyone with information about the suspects to avoid confronting them and instead contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for this violent crime.
