SCHENECTADY, NY – The Schenectady Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on June 12, 2024, at around 7:29 PM near Jerry Burrell Park. Upon arrival, police found a juvenile victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was promptly transported to Albany Medical Center for medical treatment. Details regarding the circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation, and further information has not been released at this time.
