STAMFORD, CT — Kierra Blount has been arrested on several charges spanning both federal and state laws, following a coordinated effort by the Stamford Police Department and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
Blount was apprehended on Sunday with outstanding arrest warrants. The State of Connecticut charged her with Failure to Appear 2nd Degree. Additionally, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service charged her with Bank Fraud, Aggravated Identity Theft, and Unlawful Possession of Stolen Mail.
During the arrest attempt, Blount initially fled in her vehicle and subsequently on foot, leading to further charges including Engaging Police in Pursuit, Misuse of Marker Plates, and several traffic-related offenses, along with Interfering with an Officer.
Following her arrest, Blount is now under house arrest in North Carolina, monitored with an ankle bracelet. The Stamford Police Department has extended its gratitude to community members who aided in locating Blount, contributing to her capture.
