*VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – A fatal crash involving two vehicles occurred at the intersection of Lynnhaven Parkway and S. Rosemont Road on Sunday.
The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to the incident at approximately 6:31 p.m.
Preliminary investigation revealed one vehicle entered the intersection without the right of way, striking a second vehicle.
Nazare Guerrero-Reyes, a 20-year-old from Virginia Beach, was a passenger in the second vehicle and was transported to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
No charges have been filed at this time.
The VBPD Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the incident.
