PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — A 31-year-old woman died in the hospital after a crash involving two vehicles in the Adelphi area on Monday morning, police said.

Officers responded to the intersection of Adelphi and Riggs roads around 5:50 a.m. on March 10, where a Honda and a Jeep had collided, causing the Jeep to flip onto its side.

A passenger in one of the vehicles, later identified as Berta Marroquin Colindres of Hyattsville, was critically injured and taken to the hospital, where she died hours later.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and police urge anyone with information to contact the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
