HOLMDEL, NJ — A section of McCampbell Road on the 2x block was closed Saturday night after a vehicle struck a telephone pole, knocking down both power and telephone lines.
Repair crews from Verizon and JCP&L responded to the scene, with work expected to take approximately four hours. The roadway remains impassable in the immediate crash area, though access for local residences is available via Middletown Road and Everett Road.
Holmdel Township Police officers are on site to assist motorists during the closure.
