Fire reported on Acorn Road in Secaucus

Emergency crews closed a portion of Acorn Road as firefighters battle the active blaze.

SECAUCUS, NJ — A structural fire broke out Thursday at 14 Acorn Road, according to the Secaucus Police Department.

Authorities reported the fire shortly before noon and urged the public to avoid the area. As a result, Acorn Road was closed at Farm and Meadow Lanes to allow emergency crews to access the scene.

“There is an active structural fire at 14 Acorn Rd. Please avoid the area. The road is closed at Farm/Meadow Ln. An update will follow,” the department stated on Facebook.

Firefighters are actively working to contain the blaze. No injuries or cause of the fire have been reported at this time.

Police advised that further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
