Baltimore, MD — A 22-year-old woman was shot and wounded late Sunday afternoon in the city’s Northern District, according to Baltimore police.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 5:32 p.m. in the 2700 block of West Cold Spring Lane. When they arrived, they located the female victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the woman to a nearby hospital, where officials said she is expected to survive her injuries.
