WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department are investigating the shooting death of a 35-year-old man that took place early Sunday morning in Southeast D.C.
Just before 12:30 am, officers arrived at the 300 Block of Anacostia Road to investigate gunshot sounds. Police found the suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
35-year-old Davon Walker, of Southeast, D.C., was identified as the victim.
