WASHINGTON, DC – A 16-year-old male was arrested today after assaulting another teenager with a firearm earlier this month.
The incident occurred on May 13th at around 3:51 p.m., when D.C. Metro Police were alerted to an injured teen at the intersection of Randle Place and Alabama Avenue, Southeast.
The victim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to a local hospital. He reported being attacked by another teen in the 600 block of Savannah Street, Southeast, where he was struck with a firearm.
Thanks to security camera footage, detectives could identify and charge the suspect.
