Police Seek Suspects in Daylight Theft from Delivery Truck in D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC—Authorities are asking for public assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a recent theft from a delivery vehicle in Southeast.

The incident occurred on Friday, May 31, at around 10:34 a.m. in the 4400 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast. While unloading a truck, the victims were approached by the suspects, who stole property and then fled.

Surveillance footage capturing the suspects and their vehicle has been released by the police.

The D.C. Metro Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible. Anyone with information is urged to call (202) 727-9099 or text their tip to 50411.
