Virginia Beach Police Investigating Fatal Accident on Lynnhaven Parkway

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) is currently investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Lynnhaven Parkway.

The incident, which took place on June 7th at 7:40 p.m., involved a pedestrian, identified as Lucena Lynch, aged 77, from Virginia Beach. Lynch was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. As of now, no charges have been filed, and the VBPD Traffic Safety Unit is conducting an ongoing investigation into the matter.
