Stabbing Incident in Astoria Park Leaves Teenager Injured

ASTORIA, NY—A violent altercation in Astoria Park resulted in the stabbing of a 17-year-old male on Monday evening. The incident, which occurred around 9:30 PM at the intersection of Ditmars Boulevard and 19th Street, escalated when an argument between the victim and another male individual turned physical.

The assailant reportedly stabbed the teenager once in the back of the neck before fleeing the scene. The victim was subsequently transported by private means to Astoria General Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the altercation and are actively searching for the suspect, who remains at large.
