NEW YORK, NY – A violent confrontation occurred on Saturday, June 15, at approximately 7:25 PM in front of 3161 Broadway, resulting in injuries to a 38-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman. According to police reports, the man was engaged in a verbal altercation with two unidentified assailants.

The dispute quickly escalated when one assailant stabbed the man twice in his left flank, and the other shot him once in the left shoulder. The bullet then exited and inadvertently struck the female bystander in her right hand. Following the attack, the perpetrators fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Emergency Medical Services responded promptly, transporting both victims to Mount Sinai Morningside. They were admitted in stable condition. Authorities are actively investigating the incident and seeking any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of the suspects.
